How We Serve Clients Differently

Good morning!

Currently sitting in a quaint coffee shop outside Colorado Springs.

I feel like I am in one of those Hallmark movies, lol.

We actually just finished a Kickoff Call for a new Shopify Partner. The wild thing is that we haven’t even started, and they’re already blown away!

Here’s a quick background of the new partner:

• Shopify brand in the food and beverage space.

• Scaled past $150,000/month a year ago but hit a wall with growth.

• Burned by poor experiences with consultants and a large agency.

The team is craving a refreshed strategy, and they’re ready to get things rolling.

During the call, we went through their client enrollment form and worked to define our initial KPIs and align on our early efforts.

Here’s what stood out from today’s session:

1. Team Introductions and Values Alignment

We introduced the full team, including Zach (our COO and strategist), Alex (paid media manager), and Xavier (email lead). From the start, we focused on our values—building lasting relationships, acting as a true team extension, and maintaining transparency. The client felt reassured, knowing they have a team dedicated to their unique goals.

2. Immediate Actions

Before the call, we turned off some underperforming ads to save on ad spend. Next, we’ll be structuring new campaigns focused on quick wins to boost conversions (no more traffic or add-to-cart optimizations). We’re diving into their assets to bring their brand voice through in every ad, especially as we approach the holiday season.

3. Communication Protocols

We established clear communication channels and shared our reporting process, which includes a weekly Slack update with a snapshot of campaign performance. The client’s team joined our Slack workspace, keeping our communication streamlined and effective. We’ll be meeting bi-weekly with a deep dive planned next week to finalize our 90-day roadmap.

4. Preparing for Black Friday and Beyond

We explored some exciting Black Friday options—think gift incentives, mystery boxes, loyalty points, and even a ‘Thankful for You’ November campaign with weekly bonuses. They have a treasure trove of potential offers to entice customers while preserving their margins, and we’ll refine these in our next call.

5. Data, Testing, and Future Growth

We’ll be analyzing everything from conversion rates to customer segments to unearth new growth opportunities. With email and ad campaigns working in tandem, we’re building a strategy that’s both data-driven and creatively engaging.

This was just the start, and already, we’re setting up to hit the ground running, confident that this partnership will bring impactful growth.
