Meta Ads Changes: Should Health & Wellness Brands Be Worried?
There’s a lot of panic in the health and wellness space right now about Meta’s rumored ad changes—especially around bottom-of-funnel events like purchase tracking.
Hey there, it’s Patrick.
There’s a lot of panic in the health and wellness space right now about Meta’s rumored ad changes…
Especially around bottom-of-funnel events like purchase tracking.
But let’s cut through the noise.
Here’s what’s actually happening:
Who should be worried?
If you’re running ads for true medical conditions (think telemedicine, prescriptions, or treatments), you might be impacted.
Who’s in the clear?
Most supplement, fitness, and wellness brands should be fine—as long as you’re careful with your claims (no medical promises like “cures depression” or “fixes anxiety”).
I just posted a full YouTube video walking through exactly how we are thinking about it for our clients.
How to stay ahead:
• Keep an eye on your ad performance: if purchase tracking disappears, request a manual review.
• Audit your website, ads, and landing pages for compliance.
• Double down on your email & SMS list so you don’t rely 100% on paid ads.
I break it all down in my latest video here: [Watch Now]
If you’re running Meta ads in this space, you don’t want to miss this.
Let me know if you’ve seen any changes on your account.
I’m keeping a close eye on this and will share updates as they come.
Best,
