One thing I always hear from brands is:

Over the last six months, we have onboarded a handful of clients that previously worked with corporate agencies.

They would get sold by a salesperson, who would tell them everything they want to hear to get the sale-

Then onboard with an account manager who would kick them to a pod structure.

Then before you know it, every few weeks a new account manager would step in.

From a business perspective, I understand why this happens-

But I also think it’s why we retain clients for 6-12+ months.

Our founding team (Myself, Zach & Canon) are constantly working on client accounts.

Here is how we manage nearly 20 e-commerce clients and ensure we drive growth:

Client Health Dashboard & Weekly Check-Ins

We grade clients using 3 simple categories on a weekly basis:

Red, Yellow & Green

The majority of time, clients are intentionally at a yellow.

Red is typically if performance is dipping, communication is down and we need all hands on deck to get it back to yellow.

Green is when everything is top tier, the client is extremely happy, refers business and would give a testimonial.

Every Tuesday morning, whoever is leading the account must grade the client and report to the team why they graded the client that way.

This system has helped us all maintain a pulse on all client results and clients are sticking around longer than ever.
