Keep it short and to the point. Plain text emails work because they deliver the message quickly without distractions. Highlight the offer, the urgency, and any key details right upfront.
A Clear Offer or CTA
In our example, we offered a BOGO 50% OFF deal and placed the link clearly. The audience knew exactly what action to take. Pro tip: no need for over-explanation—just guide them to the action.
Use Emotional Triggers
We played off the emotions by saying goodbye to a product fans loved. Highlighting scarcity (“discontinuing”) or urgency (“limited time offer”) can push readers to act now rather than later.
A Conversational Tone
Forget corporate speak. Write like you’re talking to a friend—this builds trust and increases engagement.
