The meeting you need to have this week.
One 60-minute meeting could change your entire year.

How many meetings have you had this month that went absolutely nowhere?
You talk about ideas, you look at creative, you debate headlines… but you never talk about the only thing that actually matters: the math.
You’re letting your business strategy be driven by feelings, not finances.
And it’s probably costing you a fortune.
It’s time to take control. You need to lead a “Math-First Call.”
This is a new style of call we are rolling out with our clients, and I think it’s gold.
This isn’t a confrontation; it’s an alignment session.
It’s you, as the leader, setting the financial guardrails for your own business.
I want you to put a 60-minute meeting on the calendar this week with your team or agency. Title it “The Math-First Call.”
Here’s your agenda:
The Profitability Rule: Start by asking one question: “Are we aiming for first-order profit, or are we relying on LTV?” Get everyone to agree on the answer. This is your north star.
Build the Cost of Delivery: Open a spreadsheet and calculate, line by line, what it costs to get one order out the door. COGS, shipping, fulfillment, fees. No hiding. Get to a real number.
Find the Required CVR: Now for the reality check. Based on your average CPC and the max you can spend to acquire a customer (your contribution margin), what conversion rate do you need? Is that number 2%, or is it a fantasy number like 20%?
Agree on ONE Lever: Based on the math, what is the single biggest lever you can pull to make the numbers work? Is it raising AOV? Is it fixing the offer? Get everyone focused on the one thing that will actually move the needle.
I promise you, this will be the most clarifying 60 minutes you spend all year. You can’t afford not to do it.
