Why your emails aren’t selling (and how to fix it)
Your customers don't care about your products.
Harsh truth, right?
But it gets worse…
They don't care about your fancy features.
Or your latest product updates.
Or even your "revolutionary" new whatever.
What they DO care about is themselves.
Their problems. Their desires. Their dreams.
Yet most ecom brands keep blasting out emails that read like a robot wrote them.
You know the type.
"Hey [FIRSTNAME], check out our amazing new product!"
(If I get one more email addressing me as [FIRSTNAME], I might lose it.)
But here's where it gets interesting.
The best-performing emails rarely talk about products at all.
They tell stories. They crack jokes. They make people feel something.
Think about it.
When's the last time a bullet-point list of features made you whip out your credit card?
Never, that's when.
Your customers are humans.
(Well, most of them. I'm still suspicious about Dave from accounting.)
They want to connect with other humans.
And humans love stories.
We're wired for them.
It's why gossip spreads faster than COVID at a karaoke bar.
Want proof?
The emails that make the most money for our clients?
They read like messages from a friend.
Not some corporate snooze-fest.
Speaking of which... if you're tired of sending emails that put your customers to sleep, we should talk.
Our C.O.R.E. Growth Engine helps brands turn boring campaigns into money-making messages that actually get read.
Because life's too short for boring emails.
All the best,
